Video File not playing on USB Flash Drive

I have a finished video that I want to load onto custom flash drives that I've ordered for clients.  They're all brand new, 16GB flash drives that I've reformatted to ExFAT to adhere to a wider compatibility of systems and a somewhat large video size (11GB).

The Master copy of the video file (.mp4) plays just fine from my desktop, but when I transfer the video to the flash drive and attempt to open it from there, it tells me that "Windows Media Player cannot play the file.  The player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file".  Again, this is the same file from my desktop that is playing just fine on the SAME system.  I'm 10 hours straight into trying to get 1 flash drive to work, so any and all help is greatly appreciated!  Thanks
