Usernames not showing in notifications

Hello,

I’ve recently had an issue with WhatsApp on iPhone 7 where notifications of messages from people who I don’t have in my contacts do not show their usernames any more.

Since the last couple of updates this has been a problem and it didn’t use to happen before. All my notification settings haven’t changed and I tried reinstalling the app but nothing has been working. 

Has anyone else been having this issue? Thanks.
