My son has this & it has worked excellent! so i Decided to use it,

I recently updated my free AVG to the avg2013, from this point i could no longer dowlnload any files even from safe sites. It always started the download and then stopped and said the file had a virus and was deleted. After many weeks of frustration, and researching I have found the problem. I had to delete all the AVG files in my C:\programfiles\avg. As soon as I did this everything is working a ok.

I would think avg would be aware of this and have a patch or remedy. I have had no problem with avg up till now. Considering another option at this point
