Furious mad Cat damaged laptop

Hello,

I left my laptop open and my cat took the advantage of destroying it. I no longer have a background it is all black, and no task bar or icons. I have tried running different programs through the task manager to fix the problem but it will come back that it has stopped working. I tried getting the task bar back with CTRL+ESC but no luck.
If anyone can help me it would be greatly appreciated!
