Hello,

Our system generates a daily ZIP folder with reports, named as follows:
Einstein_Reports_20_NOV_2012_21_Nov_2012_065804.zip

The first date is the process date (reports date) and the second dite and time is the timestamp when the folder was created.

This is then copied to our J Drive.

Daily I manually copy this to our R Drive (which all users can access), into individual folders per day, like this:
R:\Einstein Reports\2012\112012\20112012

I would like to automate this and understand it can be done via a batch file which I then have executed using Task Scheduler. I have never done anything like this before.

Could someone please assist me with the batch file - I think the tricky part will be to identify the ZIP file based on the variable dates, and to create the variable path (folder, based on date) on the R Drive.

This is my first post here, so apologies if I am not posting this in the correct way.

Thanks in advance,
Gerhard

PS. on Monday mornings I copy 3 files (for the weekend).
