HDMI volume issue

Hello, I have done all the things suggested by others but I still can't get audio from my PC to TV via the HDMI cable. it worked well until recently and then voila! no more sound. I am not doing anything different, I haven't changed any settings. The picture is great though. I have downloaded the latest driver for the graphics card etc. So...I don't know what to do next. PLease help someone...my sanity is on the line here!
