I have a toshiba Laptop. When it strats up, all I get is a black screen. I can start it in safe mode, so I think the issue is with loading the normal settings.
As all I get is a black screen, I can't reinstal.
I have tried pressing ESC and power at the same time, but that does not do anything (not sure if thats buecause of the HDD is password protected, and I don't know how to get that off).
I also have a Sony Viao that frezzes. I have no idea why, but it seems to be random. I was told it could be Vista, so I put on Windows 8, but that did nothing to help. I have also been told it could be the fan, but I don't fancy buying a new one just to find out.
