Vista PC will not recognize Kingston SD adapter

I want to add a couple of pictures to my LG 340 cell phone's SD card and am having trouble with my HP - Vista Home Premium recognizing the Kingston SD adapter and 2 gig SD card. Have another DANE - Elec SD card adapter + 8 gig SD card but the PC will not recognize it either. I have drivers loaded for my Kodak SD card but that is for my USB slot.


Have SD/Mini - MMC/RS/Plus/Mobile slot. This shows up when I right click Computer under Hardware and the window shows that it is working properly.
