To increase internet speed in Mozilla firefox.21

Hi,
i am using Idea connection via pc, the browsing speed is 460kbps, and dowloading speed does not go more than 15 to 20 kbps, can any body tell me how can i increase that, if possible, i've connected via pc suit, using Nokia2690 as modem and firefox21.0 as browser and in surat.....
