SIMS 2 NIGHTLIFE wont install

trying to install sims 2 nightlife... i do have sims 3 but prefer sims 2!!!! it gets to 47% and then I get the error message..TSData\Res\Sound\Buy.package. i have Sims2, university, pets open for business seasons, bon voyage freetime.. plus a few of the teen style stuff etc type one? Please help... thinking I may have to unistall some of my others to install the nightlife... but dont want to lose what I have done
