Power Switch Just Blinks

I have a eMachines HD monitor (E19T6W) 19in screen, plu and pray. It has run perfectly until two days ago. I rebooted the system and once that happened the CPU fired up but the monitor power switch just keeps blinking blue and never changes. I have unplugged the monitor trying to see if it would reset but no luck. I have attached it to another system that I know works and still it only blinks. HELP
