How delete write protected files on USB?Closed

Question

I follow your step by step as below : 

Start Menu >> Run, type regedit and press Enter, this will open the registry editor. 
Navigate to the following path: 

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\...... but after that we not found this option (StorageDevicePolicies ) what to do please  advice.

Is any other option to Delete Write Protected files on USB.

Dear Ambucias,

Thanks for your replay. 

1) There is no write protection on a USB key. (I can't format and  delete my data because all folder and file is Write protection)

2) I follow your step by step but there is no option for "Storage Device Policies " what to do please advice.

Try this:

Click start
then run regedit
go to this directory HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\Currentcontrolset\control\
if you can't find StorageDevicePolicies under control folder
then make some new one. Follow this steps:

step 1:
go to this directory HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\Currentcontrolset\control\
again and right click control folder

step 2:
select new, then click key and rename the new key #1 folder into
StorageDevicePolicies

step 3:
right click StorageDevicePolicies folder and select new DWORD(32-bit) Value
for 32-bit Operating System and select new DWORD(64-bit) Value
for 64-bit Operating System

step 4:
rename dword newer folder into WriteProtect, then double click WriteProtect
and change the value data into 0 with hexadecimal base, Then close regedit

step 5:
open my computer and refresh it 5 times without do anything to your usb, and
properly eject your flash drive

step 6:
plug in your usb again into your computer and format it using exfat instead of fat32

Thanks for your replay. 

Again I follow your step  after last step format it using exfat instead of  fat32] also in fat 64 I facing same problem disk is write Protected.

My Pan drive capacity 4Gb and there is two drive partition disk (G:) and disk (H:) 

Disk (G:) I cant format because disk is write protected.

Disk (H:) I cant format is working and delete or copy other file.

please advice how I can format disk (G:)

I have s/w windows-7Home Basic (64-Bit)

You mean pen drive not pan drive (a pan is for frying). :-)

This ZOGI thing, as far as I am concerned, is a cheap Chineese imitation for which I am out of solutions except for this last format tool.

hmmm.... pen drive.

ok again when click HP USB Disk Storage.exe the error is Permission denied The administrator rights are required to run this  tool.

Ok after run as admin.... start for Quick Format and file system (FAT 32) same Error showing Device media is write-protected.
