My screen stays black

Hello,

I went to turn on my laptop the other day. It started up normally so I thought expect my screen is staying black. I can hear my computer running all the lights are on everything seem to working expect the screen. I tried disconnecting all power source holding down the power button none of that work any suggestion on how I can fix this problem? My only other device is my iPhone I can type reports and print from it
