Pivot Table Setup

I need some simple pivot table help to get me past a stumbling point. The database I am working off of has the following columns.

A: INVDATE
B: INVNO
C: CUSTNO
D: ITEM
E: DESRCIP
F: QTYSHIP
G: EXTPRI

I need to insert a pivot table to sum the total number of each sku (ITEM) that is shipped, along with the extended price (EXTPRI) for each.

From the pivot table output, then copy the columns of the ITEM, QTYSHIP, and EXTPRI to a new sheet.

Then I need to be able to rank & sort items by either Total Qty Shipped, or by Total Revenue (EXTPRI) in separate columns.

I tried putting ITEM in Report Filter, and played with the QTYSHIP and EXTPRI in either the Column Labels or the Row Labels, and wasn't getting the results that I was expecting. Any help is certainly appreciated.
