DVD RW is not reading and burning any disc [Closed]

Hello,
I am using laptop Compaq Presario CQ42. My OS is Windows 7.
From long time I facing a problem that my DVD RW is not reading any CD or DVD.
Whenever I checked device manager it shows " device is working properly". Also used Microsoft fix solution but didn't work.
Please suggest how to fix this issue.
