Profile not being able to load properly

I have this issue with my DELL Studio. I was using it a few hours ago and it was working just fine, but when I turned it on a few hours later it said something about my profile not being able to load properly and put me in a new profile. All of my files did not transfer and I cant seem to open my old profile. I removed the battery, restarted, shut down, and nothing works. Is there any solution?
