Computer Monitor or HDTV

I'm looking to either get a computer monitor or an HDTV. I have a laptop and a PS4 and I want something that can work for the both of them perfectly.
I use them both about half and half of my time. I use my PS4 for gaming with and I use my laptop for movies and shows and such. The monitor or TV must have at least one HDMI port to plug them both into. What should I get?
