Real downloader 'unable to download' message

Running Windows 8.1 Attempted to download a doco off utube using realdownloader.
but got the 'unable to download' message. Went to DL' realdownloader' and already installed, along with 'get realplayer'. Are you able you able to offer any reason why I am unable to
download using realdownloader, and what can be done to remedy the situation.
