My daughter has a relatively new ipod nano. We have not had problems syncing it until now. I just tried to sync it with some new music, and although itunes acknowledges the ipod, no syncing took place.
I followed ALL the steps on the itunes site, including downloading the newest itunes, restoring the ipod (which had he effect of erasing ALL of her music from the device), restarting everything, updating my computer in all respects, and reinstalling apple mobile device support (which is now working). We don't have any other communication software on the computer except Windows Media Player).
