Acer Aspire E11 connection keeps getting lost or limited

I bought an Acer Aspire E11-111-C5Q9 last week. It has been working completely fine until Monday. I got back to my home and I've been experiencing problems with the wifi and this laptop ever since. The wifi is working completely fine on my other laptop, phone, housemate's laptop (Acer Aspire V11), etc.

The laptop shows there is a wifi connection and if you go the network settings everything seems to be fine. It works perfectly for quite a while sometimes, but then it suddenly stops working. The only way to resolve that problem is turn the wifi off and then on again. There will be no changes in how the connection is shown most of the time though. Sometimes the connection is shown as limited, but most of the time it isn't.

The laptop was working fine on the wifi I have been using till Monday and it was working fine at the university wifi yesterday. It seems like it is a problem with only this wifi network. I can't reach the router though, because it's one of my housemates' wifi.

I've tried installing the drivers again, older version of the software, etc.

I really hope there might be other things that could solve this problem.
