Toshiba does not power up.

Hello,
the Toshiba laptop LA50 does nothing when I plug in the power lead. The orange light stays on plus the White power light & that's it! There is no life attached to this machine?? I have tried the batt out, power lead disconnected & held down the power button for 30 seconds, still no change. Any advise please besides taking it into either replace the power pack or something internal?
