Hd TV worked. Now on old TV it won't work.

Hello, I have been using my PS3 on my hd TV with a flat hdmi cable. Now I moved it to the other old TV using a big hdmi cable and av plugs on the other end.
Nothing is coming up. What am I doing wrong.
