Drop down list treated as a selection variable

Hello,
I am trying to see if this is possible and if so how:

Problem: Make the same "selection variable" ,i.e. word or number chosen from the drop down list, select a number from another page. Then when ever that same "selection variable" is used it will select the next cell down from the one used before. what makes this difficult is that there going to "multiple selection variables" at random so no set pattern for excel to pick up on.
