I have been using, HP Pavilion 15 Notebook PC, with windows 8 and it was working with samsung screen. However recently, whenever it is connected with the pc the display is black. I tried this screen with Toshiba laptop and it worked. I have also tried all kind of connectors for the screen to make it work with the hp laptop, however it is always black.
One thing I noticed is that, I can't change the resolution of the extended screen and it is very low 640*480, which doesn't make any sense. It changes when it is connected to Toshiba laptop.
