Keyboard is bringing up different letters

Hello,

My keyboard is messed up. When i press the A button it selects text and when I hit the shift button the letter q pops up but when I press q nothing pops up. Also the cap lock is not lighting up that its on or not. Any suggestions would be much appreciated!
