Blank (not black) screen when mouse cursor goes to side screen

Hello,
Blank (not black) screen when mouse cursor goes to side screen. If I move the cursor over a little, the screen comes back. Happens in Word, Excel, Email. Cannot find a reason why or how to fix it.
