Dell N5110 problem

hello! i just formated my dell laptop with windows 8.1 pro . Since i did the format my laptop won't turn on. When i press the power button i can see the dell logo and windows is starting but a few seconds later the display turn black id doesn't show any thing . I have tried to turn it on with the ac adapter only and it works but when i plug the battery it doesn't show any display after the windows logo.
