Black screen with white writing comes up

I was on my computer and it froze so I took the battery out and put it back in, and now when I press the power button, this black screen with white writing comes up , and it keeps scrolling down and keeps going on and on and won't stop and that screen won't go away and the laptop keeps making this weird sound kinda like a crushing sound, and I need to fix it!!! It's a windows 7 Toshiba
