I have an ASUS notebook, I7 processor 12 gigs of memory and 1TB disk. It came with Windows 8 and I updated to 8.1. I hate windows 8 so I removed it and put Windows 7 Ultimate on it. Everything worked fine until I messed up my hard drive with a partition maker. So I rebuilt it but since I lost my license to Ultimate I installed Windows 7 Enterprise.
While under Ultimate everything worked. Under Enterprise my Bluetooth doesn't work. It says all the drivers are correct and that everything is in place but it just won't find any of the devices I used before (mainly a Bluetooth headset, but it won't find my phone either).
I've tried everything I can think of but it just won't find the devices. I've checked the drivers for the latest versions and they are all up to date. It just won't find any Bluetooth devices.
Is there anything that actually checks the Bluetooth radio, etc to insure it is working correctly. The Device Manager says it is but not sure how it checks things.
