My Synaptic mouse Pad on my Satellite isn't functioning properly

Hello,
Are there currently any patches or fixes for the the synaptic touchpad on a Toshiba Satellite Pro laptop? I have recently installed Windows 10, and this is one of the things that is no longer functioning properly. Any help that could be rendered will be spoken of in the highest circles.
