Dell Inspiron shows blank screen

Hello, my Dell Inspiron shows blank screen when I start it. It has inbuilt battery and after a while there is beeping sound coming from the laptop.My problem started a month ago when my laptop used to get hang when I used to see a video. I simply used to restart it and it would work but now it simply doesn't. Please need urgent help
