Nothing Opens Please Help

I have installed Windows XP SP3. Yesterday I ran MSRT after that no file opens. There is a lot of data in my PC and it is all so much important... From family images to office files of high priority...

The images thumbnails are showing but when I open it, it says No preview available.
Office files are not opening saying it is corrupt and so on with all files...

Please help me out, please.
