Emails stuck in outbox in yahoo mail

I use Yahoo mail on my Iphone 5 and I have emails showing stuck in my outbox and at the same time it shows they are sent...... How can I reset the outbox? the cursor is just spinning in the outbox, like it it trying to send but then it never stops spinning!
