All machines can see XP machine but not vice versa

I have an XP machine that has, in the past, been able to "see" and communicate with all other Machine (Vista, Windows, 7, Windows 8). All the other machines can access the XP machine, but the XP machine cannot access them. They are all in the same workgrounp and can see all machines in workgroup by clicking "view workgroup computers", but cannot access them from XP machine. I uninstalled my antivirus, disabled my windows firewall, checked the computer browser services settings, enabled TCP/IP in my LAN and it still does not work. Any suggestions?
