Laptop is very slow and wont stay charge

Hello,

The computer is very slow and wont stay charge very long and i plugged in the charger and the battery wont mark as charging.. I dont know why and dont know what to do and also what can i do to solve the slowness and always saying there is an issue but wont let me see.. Can you help please???
