Monitor no signal on Compaq

Hello,
I am himanshu sanga from rajasthan aburoad. I have a compaq comp. But now i was in problem. My comp was not get start its cpu light was just on but the orange light signal was not blink which having a cd like sign below him and my monitor was also not gets start its just only show that its going to sleep.
Please help me to repair my comp and the orange light in the cpu and the monitor gets start
