Toshiba laptop touchpad not working

My Toshiba laptop is relatively new and has always worked well. The touchpad hadn't been working for awhile until I updated to Windows 10, which caused the touchpad to work again. I didn't have any problems again for awhile, but today when I turned on my laptop, the touchpad wasn't working again. I have a mouse plugged into the laptop and I am using that, but I prefer the touchpad, but it doesn't react. I have tried using the f5 key. I have tried turning off the laptop and holding the power button for 15 seconds and I have tried resetting my laptop settings. Nothing is fixing it. Please let me know if you have any ideas.
