Microphone is really quiet on Skype

So i've reset my computer, i've tried numerous ways on this site to try fix this but my earphones (with a mic) are being recognised by my computer and bringing up the options to pick 'line in, mic in, headphones,' etc but the microphone is really quiet on skype and my earphones don't show up in the playback/sound options to change it to the default or to unmute it or anything. Anyone got any ideas?

Im using Windows 10, if that makes a difference.
