Money shake cheat doesn't work

Hello,

I can't work out what I'm doing wrong but on Sims 3 on my iPad I go into the menu then help and about, then gardening tips and shake just like everyone says but no money appears.
I have tried every shake possible, really hard and soft. Nothing works. Do I need to change settings somewhere?
