Down and left arrow keys don't work

I have a windows 8 touch screen acer laptop and for some unknown reason the down and left arrow keys don't work. I can't figure out why either. I've tried the fn key, the f7 key, doing whatever I can. If anyone can help me it would be greatly appreciated.
