So my Windows 8.1 Toshiba Satellite laptop has been running slower lately and has taken a longer time to turn on/off. When it did shut down the light was still on the power button, it had to be manually shut down. I tried the power button and couldn't get the screen to come on, the power button lights up like before when you hold it for 5 seconds but no screen. There isn't a removable battery, other wise I would have tried that. Plugging in the charging cord does get a tiny battery light on the front also. But nothing else. I figured there had to be some way to reboot it here at home, or something I could at least try without taking it in for a repair? I am freaking out because I use the laptop at mainly for online college classes. Any advice or tips help. Thanks in advance.
