Packard bell laptop cannot boot on euif mode

My packard bell laptop cannot boot on euif mode,when i boot it on legacy mode i get this message"windows cannot be installed on the drive because the drive is off a GPT partition style,and i already formated the operation system on it.iwas using windows 8.... i tried googling this n even tried youtupe bt never got the solution.please help me
