Gateway M6848 after clean the fan it doesn´t work

Hello,
Last week, I took off the fan and cleaned it. After installed it the laptop doesn´t turn on,, any light, nothing...
I noticed that the heat sink was damaged.
Is it a big problem?
What can I do?
