I have a Toshiba satellite laptop (C55 series). It has been very unstable lately, and when first booted up, the cursor was either frozen or not present. If i turned the computer off, using the power key (the only way I could without a cursor), and turned it back on again, the cursor would appear, and would function. Because of this and the instability, I decided to reset the computer to original settings. Now I don't have a cursor present, and have been unable to get it back, making the computer pretty much unusable. It is a few years old, so the OS it reset to is Windows 8. Any suggestions? I do have a reboot flash drive from when I started over once before, but without the cursor, I can't figure out a way to use it
