I'm a basic user of excel and really struggling to grasp some of the tutorials on matching cells across sheets in excel.
I am coordinating volunteers for an event and they all have to complete an online induction - I then have to download an excel report of who has completed the induction and compare this with my list of volunteers which are imbedded over multiple sheets in the workbook.
What I would like to do (if it is possible) is set a formula so that I paste the list of the names who have completed the induction into the workbook and where that name matches with a name in the workbook, a YES appears in the cell next to their name.
Is this possible and if so what is the formula?
Any advice/tips is greatly appreciated!
