Acer loptop frozen can't type the password

Hello, last night I forgot to turn off my loptop and when I open it in the morning, Gosh I can't type the password .It really hang up and I am really confused that I can't open my loptop for it is brand new. I tried removing the battery hoping it will work but it didn't. Can someone help me for my problem? Please your suggestions surely appreciated. Thesis is coming and I don't have an extra loptop to use. I really need it badly.
