Laptop internet is connected but can't browse

Hello,

I have an Acer Aspire E 11 E3-111C70S. I did connected to my pocket wifi, unfortunately i can't even browse anything thru my internet explorer or facebook acct. Pls do help me because it says that I have to update my OS and anti-virus as well.
