Without facebook messenger

Hi. How can i will be invisible on facebook chat without having fb messenger at all? I mean, i just want to use the facebook app only not the messenger at all. I just noticed that everytime i open my facebook app just to check the newsfeed without having fb messenger or downloading it, it still says still active. Because before the updates of all my apps on my phone its not like these. And i did turn off the button for chat before but it didnt work so i deactivate or remove my fb messenger but still shows on my fb app everytime i open that im still online on fb messenger.
