Having problems with Sypnatics Touchpad.

I was having problems with my Toshiba laptop. The touchpad suddenly stopped working, and that is why I used a mouse. Prior to it, my anti-virus expires and my laptop starts to hang up. So I refresh my PC. I scanned it afterwards using Kaspersky and found viruses, Trojan. And so, my touchpad seems to work after I deleted the viruses but still I can't drag a folder on my desktop. Sometimes I can't even close a folder nor select an item. The icon on my tasks for touchpad says its not active. What should I do? Should I reset my Sypnatic Touchpad? How?
