I have three columns related to the prices of equities. Column A is for the name of individual equity, Column B is for the individual equity price of the previous day, and Column C is for the individual equity price of present day. Column A contains 700 individual equities.
In Column C, all 700 cells will have conditional formatting rule (Format only cells that contain) based on the price in related cell of Column B.
Presently, I am trying to enter the above conditional formatting rule manually for each cell in Column C – which is extremely tedious. The formula for this rule is same for all 700 equities.
My question is – is there any intelligent procedure by which I can enter the above rule in one place/cell and get it entered in all 700 cells of Column C ?
Request your guidance on above.
